Apex Power Fold Out Ramp Wheelchair Van Conversion

Dodge Grand Caravan VMI Apex Power Fold Out Ramp Wheelchair Van Conversion

A New Cost Effective Transportation Option

It is no secret that buying a new wheelchair accessible vehicle can come at a great price. Unfortunately, for too many people, this is a limiting factor in their mobility. Thankfully manufacturers are hearing this concern and are working tirelessly to introduce new conversion products that are made available at a lower price point. Most recently Vantage Mobility International (VMI) introduced their version of a lower cost conversion, the VMI Dodge APEX.

The All New APEX Conversion is being introduced to the market at a very low price point, with multiple rebates available to those who qualify. This lower price point allows users to get into a new wheelchair van at the lowest prices they may have ever seen. Not only does it carry a low conversion cost, but VMI is the only conversion manufacturer that does not put a mileage cap of 50,000 miles on the vehicles they convert. Meaning you can potentially convert the vehicle you already own without having to lose thousands trading it in on a newer model. While this conversion is more affordable, they did not sacrifice the quality and reliability customers are used to in the VMI name. The conversion still offers many of the features available in most wheelchair van conversions.

Innovative Features

The VMI APEX Conversion makes use of a Fold-Out Ramp rather than the usual VMI Infloor option. This saves production cost, allowing those savings to be passed on to you. More than just savings, the Fold-Out style of ramp allows for a very easy manual back-up operation of the conversion. Unlike some other popular low-cost conversions, the APEX has not sacrificed much seating or wheelchair placement availability. The wheelchair user can still ride in the front of the vehicle in the passenger position as with the standard conversions. Possibly the most impressive feature of the VMI Dodge APEX conversion is its power ramp. Ever since manufacturers have been making lower cost conversions, customers have had to sacrifice the convenience of a power ramp for the more difficult to operate manual ramp, which can be hard for elderly or disabled customers to operate. With the APEX, that is not an issue, operating the door and ramp can be easily accomplished with a remote.
