Horizon Rear Loading Wheelchair Accessible Vans

FR Conversion Chrysler Pacifica Manual Fold Out Ramp Rear Loading Wheelchair Van Conversion

Chrysler Pacifica FR Conversions Horizon Duo Wheelchair Van Conversion

There is good news for those who require a wheelchair van for transportation. That’s because the long-awaited Chrysler Pacifica Rear Entry Wheelchair Van is currently available, in both a taxi-cut and a long cut from FR Conversions, Chrysler Fleet’s largest mobility second-stage manufacturer.

FR Conversions performs wheelchair van conversions on new and used Chrysler Pacifica minivans starting with the 2017 model year. A long-cut version with stretcher capabilities is also available. And soon, a side-entry version of the Pacifica will also be available.

Extensive List of Features

When it comes to quality mobility vans for commercial passenger transportation and paratransit providers, the Chrysler Pacifica taxi-cut mobility van offers an extensive list of features that are unparalleled in the industry. The van is constructed on a Chrysler Pacifica platform, and offers the ability to transport six passengers including the driver and one wheelchair.

The interior wheelchair tub features the largest usable space available on a Chrysler chassis. The van’s manual, spring-assisted ramp features an aluminum powder-coated diamond pattern surface, reducing slips while increasing traction. The spring-assisted ramp is easy to lift, rattle-free, and its 11 percent grade meets ADA requirements while assisting ease of entry.

Seating in the van retains Chrysler’s original location for two or three passengers as well as the Stow N Go™ capability. The 56-inch hatch height meets ADA requirements, and an exclusive welded, steel-cap rear bumper provides both maximum strength and safety.

FR Conversions has a unique welding process that ensures a lifelong even floor, and their matte finished, diamond tread pattern helps to prevent slipping. It also is extremely durable and easy-to-clean. For wheelchair passenger safety, the van features four oval “L” track floor pockets, along with one Q’Straint™ Standard Retractable Tie-Down System.

FR Conversions: Exceeding Industry Standards

FR Conversions is committed to safety, quality, comfort and technology. Its vehicles undergo rigorous crash testing and meet or exceed U.S. Federal Highway and Canadian safety standards. Since its inception, FR Conversions has maintained its corporate vision to find a better way to meet or exceed the special needs of the physically challenged. Their focus is also on meeting the special needs of contractors, organizations, emergency service providers, municipalities and others.
